Feedback from Pilots - Exactly as they arrived by email. (Including any spelling mistakes!)

"Sorry for the delay on getting back to you regarding my assessment with Ryanair - I only received the results this Tuesday - Thankfully I passed! TR on the 737-800 starts at the end of the month at East Midlands, then across to Amsterdam. All fast moving due to a cancellation.

Airfield - Belfast City (EGAC) Runway 22, and quite hectic on the day, but good enough to get through. Thanks for your help. I think it sealed it!

Best regards,"

J M

"Just a quick e-mail to let you know that I was successful with the Ryanair 737-800 assessment. Everything was as you said it would be with a few minor differences.

It was a standard departure up to 4000'with loads of GH before a cabin fire forced us to return back for a no delay NDB to land.

Many thanks again Kevin for your excellent instruction, I know I wouldn't have been able to do it without my time spent at Real Simulation.

Cheers,"

"Dear Kevin,

As you know I have had the grading for Luxair. This went really well and I passed it to go on the the Final Interview which I had Last Sunday. I found this interview quite though, a committee of five asked me a lot of challenging questions from all sides. This did lead to a good outcome.

They offered me a job as a First Officer! I will go to Luxembourg next week to sign the contract, then off to Stockholm for the Type Rating!

I would like to thank you again for the great help and training I had with you at Real Simulation. Any one who asks will get an excellent/positive review of Real Simulation from me!

All the Best and keep in touch!"

"Hi Kevin,

Just wanted to say a huge thank-you for all the help you gave me when I visited you for training in the 737.

I am delighted to say that I was successful and have secured a position with Cityjet. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending you to anyone who is going for an airline assessment and wish you all the very best for the future,

Kind regards"

"Hi Kevin

Just a quick note to say I passed the Ryanair assessment on the 737 and start at CAE soon. Many thanks for your assistance, it really did the trick.

The simulator profile was close to what we practiced, climbing to 4000’. Manoeuvres being climbing / descending turns, speed control (acceleration/deceleration), 45deg turns both ways, rapid descent at max speed. Emergency was the engine fire and it went really well! After manoeuvres, positional report to relative to NDB and also which direction to turn to track a given QDM. The NDB/DME approach was pretty straight forward with runway coming to light at about 700-800’ (~200’ above MDA).

Anyway, I hope this helps the next person along.

Hope you are well, and thanks once again,"

"Kevin,

Sorry its taken so long to get back to you. Many thanks for the hour in the 737 the other day in preperation for my Sim Assesment with British Airways.

As raw data procedural flying is something that I do nothing of these days the hour was invaluble. I'm pleased to say that I was successful and am now in the hold pool for a place either on the 737 or A320 as a Direct Entry Pilot.

This is the 2nd time i've visited and my second Job offer so im extremely grateful indeed! I shall be down again sometime to fool around in your phantom!

Many Thanks"

"Hi Kevin,

Many thanks for your instruction the other day. I'm pleased to say that Ryanair offered me the position! They sent through confirmation yesterday. It's still sinking in but I cannot thank you enough for your invaluable instruction.

There were 5 of us there on the day and we were paired off. Two in the sim and two being interviewed. The interviews were all combined into one starting off with general questions, moving on to technical and then questions about Ryanair.

The sim was virtually as we practiced. General handling was fine, just steep turns, climbing and descending turns maintaining speed and speed increases up to 350kt!! Had to intercept a radial, decide on the join but was given the procedure without a hold. I had a cabin door blow-out and a passenger was sucked out!

Overall I was much more confident having had some experience with the 737 sim, which only one of the other candidates had. Thanks again.

Warm Regards"

"Kevin,

I'll be happy to send you a longer email tomorrow, but for now I have to go celebrate...I did the Cityjet sim this morning and found out by 1700 that I got the job!

The info you had on the sim was exactly what I did, except I didn't do the missed just the single engine approch."

"Hello Kevin,

I'm happy to inform you that I successfully passed my Ryanair 737 assessment at EMA. They told me as I was leaving the interview room, and also they sent and email, so it really happened, it's written!!. They havent contacted yet to set a start day for the Type Rating and I'm a bit eager for that call already.

I learned lots of things with your training and I think it was vital to be able to pass.

Thanks for your help and dedication.

Well thanks again, best regards"

"Just a quick note to say thank-you for the 2 hours on the 737 in preperation for my sim assesment with GECAT. It was certainly money well spent, i did the sim assesment in a B757 in the end. Without the time in the 737 i could not have passed!

I was offered a place on the B737 classic/NG course starting next week and will be starting with EasyJet on successful completion.

Once again thank you for your time and help."

R L

"Just thought i'd let you know that i've got into the the holding pool at BA Connect.

Thanks for the help.

"Hi, I completed the simulator check for British Airways on Tuesday and got offered the job shortly after it.

Thanks again for all your help.

"I did an hour with you in the sim a couple of weeks ago in preparation for a Jet2 sim ride.

I am just dropping you a note to say thanks for all the help. I passed the sim ride with Jet2, and in the interim have had another with BA Citiexpress (also passed).

All the best for the future, and I will ensure I let as many people as possible know how good your service was.

Best wishes for the future."

"Hi Kevin

Thanks for the training session in the 737 sim on Wednesday morning really enjoyed it and I'm pleased to say the experience really paid off as I passed the CTC 4 simulator exam and subject to a class 1 medical approval will be joining the course out in New Zealand at the end of this month.

K A, who had a training session with you on the Saturday also passed and again subject to medical will be going out with me on the same date.

Thank you for all the advice and tips, and I'll be sure to recommend any aspiring pilots to Real Simulation and yourself.

Thanks again for your time and kind Regards,"

"Kevin

Many thanks for your excellent advice and help towards my Aer Arann simulator assessment last week.

The profile went very much as you briefed and I have been given a start date for next month.

All the best and thanks again"

"Kevin

Just writing a follow up email to my Ryanair assessment on the NG last week. First i'd like to thank you for your preparation sessions, they were invaluable and prepared me really well for the assesment. I passed and I start my type rating in 4 weeks.

The assessment itself was quite standard. The upper air exercises involved a series of turns, climbing turns, decending turns and steep turns at 45 degrees AOB. This was follwed by a climb to 7000' at 250kt, at TOC he gave me an engine fire and asked me to say out loud the engine fire drills. I was then given the engine back and vectored for an NDB/DME Appr, I had to go around, leveling off at 2000'. I was then cleared direct to the NDB, teardrop join then straight oubound for my 2nd NDB/DME approach to land this time. All in all about 40 mins.

Once again thank you for all your help

Regards"

"Hi Kevin

Just to let you know I was successful with the Aer Arann assessment and have been offered a course.

The sid was from 24R at Manchester. It was a flap 1 departure, take off and climb thrust as you predicted. Acceleration at 3000. I was then asked to intercept and track various QDMs and QDR's based on the airfield NDB. Then 2 360 degree steep turns, level at 5000, speed 240 knots. Then given another QDM to intercept, track to the Beacon and enter the hold. Once around the hold followed by a procedural ILS to 24R to land.

I must say, I found our time together a great help and it allowed me to tackle the assessment with confidence as we'd covered pretty much what came up.

Thank you very much for your help!

Regards"

"Hi Kevin

Just to let you know we both passed our assessment for Globespan. The time we spent with you was invaluable.

Once again many thanks"

"Dear Kevin

Just a quick note to say thank you for all the good information you passed on to me prior to my simulator assessment for Jet2, last September.

Your help and instruction helped me to pass and gave me a good grounding for the following weeks Advanced Handling Course and the subsequent training with Jet2, with whom I am now on line as a First Officer on their Boeing 737 fleet, based Blackpool/Manchester.

I would recommend you to anyone who has an interview/assessment coming up and would also like to thank all at realsimulation for making me most welcome.

Yours Sincerely"

"Hi Kevin

Good news, I passed the Ryanair assessment on the 737-800 at EMA. The sim ride was very similar to what we went through. The instructor froze the sim and repositioned me for a direct entry join. He didn't want to see a hold, quite ironic as I consistently forget that when you and I were practising the holds!

They offered me a position at the end of the interview. The training we did definitely paid off.

Thanks again"

"Many thanks for the excellent simulator ride on Friday, pleased to say I was successful at my Astraeus assessment and have been offered a course date.

All the best"

"Dear Kevin

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the tips and advice on the sim ride I found them invaluable especially after spending the last few years relying on an autopilot, it gave me so much more confidence going into my assessment knowing that I had prepared well.

It seemed to work as they have offered me a direct entry command on the 737, so once again many thanks your efforts are much appreciated."

"Hi Kevin

I hope this note finds you well, I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how I got on at the CTC Stage 4 sim assessment.

After a nerve-wracking 12 hour wait for results, I am happy to say that I passed and, pending medical, am in!

On the day, because I was such a low experienced candidate, the instructor handled the power and asked us to focus on maintaining a good instrument scan, flying the correct attitudes to maintain straight and level, flat/ascending/descending rate 1 and steep turns on to alt and heading. I was in control all the time and handled the take-off and climb out, exercises and then was set up on finals about 5 miles out on a visual approach. I was a little high on the glideslope but we got down OK! By contrast, my ILS approaches with you were much nicer. I think the time I spent with you was good practice and that hour probably freed up some spare capacity to think beyond the instruments, hold a better conversation during exercise and generally do well enough to get through.

Thanks again to you. Fingers crossed my medical goes through and then I can start thinking about heading to New Zealand and chase the dream. All the best."

"Dear Kevin

I write you to thank you for the assistance and preparation you gave me for my sim assessment with BA Connect. The experience of the sim, and the quality of the instruction could not have been better for me personally, and I left with the impression that it was of great help to me in my struggle to gain employment, and also that it had been a very pleasant and friendly experience.

I feel like I've gained a great deal of experience during these last weeks.

Kind regards"

"Hi Kevin

Just to let you know that following on from last week's session with you I passed the Ryanair sim assessment and interview yesterday at EMA.

Everything went really well - departure from Luton, followed by ADF tracking, a hold and then procedure to land.

Thanks again and best wishes"

R A

"I had my Ryanair assessment on Wednesday and I was successful. Thanks for last Saturday it really helped and I'm sure was a large part of the reason I was successful.

Thanks again"

D H

"I'm sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you regarding my CTC test. However I have good news and that is I passed the final phase of selection. Since then I have also gained my class one medical and I'm due to fly to New Zealand on 1st November.

I just wanted to thank you very much for your expert tuition throughout the 2 simulator sessions and I will keep you updated on my progress throughout the course.

Thanks again and I will speak to you in the near future."

M A

"Dear Real Simulation

I would like to thank you for the excellent sim session. The experience that I had was invaluable and led to the success of me passing the Ryanair Assessments the following Friday. I am due to start my type rating in Amsterdam soon.

Again I would like to thank you for your assistance and hope to meet again.

Kind Regards"

"Hi.

Just a quick email to say many thanks for the excellent instruction last week before my Ryanair assessment. I was successful on Friday and hopefully start the TR at the end of Oct or early January, really hoping it is October. I can honestly say that without the time spent in your simulator I would have really struggled on the day, I have no doubt it contributed to my success.

Any way chuffed to bits, I really am. Thanks again"

D C

"Oops my apologies I meant to send this ages ago, but I just wanted to say a brief thanks for the words of wisdom and advice during my sim session the day before my sim check at Thomsonfly.

Having the opportunity to get a grip of the handling skills required for the 737 in an hour of my own time, rather than in the first 10 mins of an assessment with a training captain dissecting your every error, was utterly invaluable and did much to sooth jangling nerves on the day.

I'm pleased to say it was money and time very well spent, securing a job offer on the fleet of my choice two days after the assessment.

Once again thanks to all,

Regards

"I have to thank you sooooooooooooo much for all you fantastic help and assistance with the 2 simulator bookings Andy and myself had with you. Your teaching was superb and definitely gave us both the edge for our Ryanair assessments.

I am soo over the moon to tell you that we both made it, yip we are both being offered type ratings for the 737-800.

Our 2 hours each with you was with out a doubt the best money we've ever spent.

Thank you soo much, you supply an immeasurable service.

We are going to come and see you again and buy you a beer!

Thanks soo much mate, this means everything to me

Cheers"

"I recently attended a simulator assessment training session with you for a position at British Airways as a low hours Self Sponsored Pilot.

I am just writing to give you the good news that I have been accepted.

I wanted to thank you for giving me the opportunity of experiencing a jet simulator. There's no doubt that it helped in terms of handling the assessment but probably more importantly thanks for the knowledge and tips you passed on to me.

Thanks again, regards"
